Flying Sparx

welll….been sometime since I wrote in the blog…but honestly ..their wasn’t much that changed in my life…you know…same old same old…

so lemme catch you up to speed..still in college …just finished with my fourth semester exams ( was kinda good)….waiting for the results of my 3rd semester…and just enjoying my 2 month vacation.

certainly I made a lot of plans for this vacation…and got a lot of things to look forward to…like..my bros coming from the states (definitely something to look forward to.. :-D ).

so basically the last 10 days of my vacation has gone quite smoothly…really ..going according to schedule… in fact..even I was surprised..

that is until today…its with great heartfelt regret that I inform you …that my mobile phone along with my no. has been lost to the sewage system…oh you heard me right…the sewage system…:(

Its literally gone down the drain…and I’m totally at the end of my wits..

Its so true ..what they say ..that the importance of something is felt when its not their in your life any more..

like losing your phone…its like you lose a part of your identity….though recoverable…but still…the loss is still their…

so …i learned this lesson the hard way…hope you people keep your mobile phones safe…

Hope this will be the only thing that goes wrong during this hols..

well …now on a brighter note..my elder bro’s going to be here in 2 days … and after that starts the real vacation…you know..the traditional vacation…going on trips …visiting new places…meeting relatives…etc etc..

Got some locations like OOTY and Chennai on the schedule…hopefully those are going to go great ( fingers crossed ).

I guess that’s it for now..will keep you posted on how the vacation goes…

“15th August,”

This date is remembered by all, as the day India won its independence from its oppressor (The British kingdom).  Its also marks the end of the 300 years of British rule in India.  

It creates in our mind a sense of patriotism and reminds us of the various sacrifices made to achieve this independence. Sacrifices made by regular people, the people of India.

Still, even after saying all this..a question pops up in the back of my mind.

.Are we really free?…independent?

Oxford defines independence as : 

the freedom to organize your own life, make your own decisions, etc. without needing help from other people.

This definitions seems to contradict the life that we are living. For example, Anna Hazare, a prominent figure in India brought to fame by his fight against corruption and his voice in the issuing of the Lokpal Bill( still under consideration), he plans to go on a hunger strike again on 16th August, in order to see some action on the Lokpal bill, but the govt. using police as its tool forbids Mr. Anna Hazare from going through with his plans unless he gives an undertaking restricting his protest to 3 days!!! now what kind of independence is it when you can’t stand up for what’s right without conditions being placed on you by the very people or institution that is the cause for the protest.

(For those of you who are not aware of the Lokpal bill : The Lokpal Bill provides for filing complaints of corruption against the prime minister, other ministers, and MPs with the Lokpal. The Administrative Reforms Commission (ARC) while recommending the constitution of Lokpal was convinced that such an institution was justified not only for removing the sense of injustice from the minds of adversely affected citizens but also necessary to instill public confidence in the efficiency of the administrative machinery.)

Similarly, the general population of the public face many problems from the people in positions of power. For something as normal as a posting in a government institution the candidates are harassed by the public servants in various ways like holding back the candidates files unless they are showered with some favours.

In India, it is nothing new to silence voices seeking justice. Only on paper , in the book called “Constitution of India” , every citizen is treated as equal . In practice , public servants behave as public masters & treat commoners worse . In Their crimes & actions our public servants even outsmart British occupiers. The criminal nexus of politician – police – public servant goes to any length to silence the voices seeking justice , to threaten them , to cut-off their sources of livelihood , to falsely implicate them fix them in criminal cases , to assault them & finally to finish them. Indian judiciary has failed to uphold the “The Constitution of India” in letter & spirit.

Even with all these shortcomings of this nation, we still continue to be leading experts in various fields and our country ranks among one of the best countries of the world.

And that’s what i love about it. If you have a son with behavioral issues, you don’t abandon it. You strive to make him better, and that’s what we all should do. 

well hopefully i have given you people some food for the thought….right then ..

Hi guys..this is the first entry of my blog. For a long time i had been planning on creating my own blog..but for some reasons i always found myself drifting away from it. But finaly i took it as a challenge..and here it is..my bog.

There were many reasons for not creating my blog.

• I couldn’t think of a suitable name: Now, that’s something which took most of my time (around 2 months). There’s not a single person i haven’t asked for suggestion (including my dog, Which responded quite enthusiastically, “woof woof”.).
• Time consumption : The amount of time required for the initializing the blog seemed humongous to me….in perspective to various things i could do at that time (sleeping, watching the telly and what not).
• Lack of ideas: Now that’s the most important factor of all….what the hell was i going to write in it?…i don’t claim to be a very artistic or an intellectual who always appears to be full of ideas, but finally i reached to my decision…who the hell cares what i write…its my blog ..ill write whatever that comes to my mind.
• Entry into the competitive world: Blogs are the new version of harry potters, people seem to pop up from around the world on to the net and create a blog. And so i thought is it actually worth my time to enter such a competitive area. But seeing that many of my friends are into it too…i though “why not?”..its like they say…friendship can move mountains. Then whats this competition compared to that. (Now what’s that supposed to mean?..like i said its a place where i can write anything that comes to my mind.;))

And so, after many such deliberations and discussion with my inner lazy self…finally i present to u my blog.

As the name of the post suggests…This blog tells us the story of how i arrived at this name….Which was one of the main reasons preventing me from starting this…

Well…i thought of countless names…(read was suggested)…some where Ok…other totally sucked to the core..i came up with “thought central”…taking after london central….”diary of an engineering student”…loosely based on Diary of a wimpy kid….and many more…finally a wise friend suggested…”my dear friend, you are the one who knows yourself the best…so the best person to ask would be yourself”….though he might have said that just to move over the responsibility off his shoulders…but still…that got my mind whirring…

Finally it gave birth to the idea of “FLYING SPARK”….the basis behind it goes like this:

• Our mind provides us with thoughts and ideas.
• These thoughts and ideas spread like a wildfire and cause some sort of movement in the real world.
• Similarly a spark can be seen as a building block of fire.
• It has the ability to cause a wildfire…..

And so comparing these similarities i finally got the perfect name …FLYING SPARK…

whoo..what a relief feels like a bathroom flush has been activated in my brain …flushing all the waste products of my thoughts onto the blog….feels so good watching all those waste products entering the drain pipe…

come to think of it im actually sharing THAT with u guys….lol roflmao…sorry guys..i just cant help these things…
